Terraces, Thousands of Bahá’ís representing some 180 countries attended a devotional program on 23 May 2001 as part of the inauguration of the Terraces on Mount Carmel. At the end of the program, they ascended Mount Carmel, climbing up towards and past the Shrine of the Báb, shown at right in the background, center.
